New Sustainable Solutions for the Future.
Worldwide, there is a need for information and inspiration regarding innovation in materials. The challenge lies in saving natural material and energy sources, reducing waste streams, eliminating toxic emissions and recycling waste – in a natural or technical way. And all that comes within the confines of sustainability, ensuring that future generations won’t be burdened by the actions of the present generation.

Design by Making. Celebrating the culture of the atelier, Made by B29 opens its studio doors, presenting new work from 15 independent designers covering product, interior, furniture, exhibition, theatre, textiles and graphic design, photography, styling and architecture.

Prestigious interior brands and trend-setting designers are moving into the Lloyd Hotel Amsterdam for three days. The theme this year is: the atelier, the workplace of designers and furniture makers.

Every year, Dutch interior and product designers present their latest collections to the public and international press in Italy. In the Netherlands, however, these products are never shown as an ensemble for a large audience. That is, except at Via Milano New Dutch Design at the Woonbeurs in Amsterdam, which celebrates 10 years this year.

The 18th edition of Woonbeurs Amsterdam at the end of September heralds the start of the interior design season. As well as featuring the newest trends and latest scoops, there will be exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations and a Woontheater (Lifestyle Theatre) with daily, inspirational lectures by trend watchers and designers.
