Ilka Helmig
This exhibition offers an overview of the work of German graphic designer and illustrator Ilka Helmig.
It consists of three-dimensional sculptures and installations from everyday material, such as textiles and wood. Helmig plays with reality to create a fictitious state. The Toonkamer is a showroom in which 35 top-notch design brands will be presenting themselves within the industrial confines of the Pastoe Fabriek, Utrecht.

Dutch Design Double 2010
Under the umbrella Dutch Design Double, Amsterdam and Utrecht host throughout the whole month of September and October a great variety of internationally orientated design events. Both cities are joining forces to create a handpicked selection of design and new media projects.
